PancakeSwap made a significant move on May 29 by launching Pancake Protectors, which seamlessly incorporates the exchange platform’s proprietary token, CAKE, into the gameplay. Per the official blog, the integration of CAKE in the game enables players to leverage the token’s potential and earn rewards while indulging in the game.
Following the announcement of PancakeSwap’s GameFi platform, the price of CAKE experienced a remarkable surge within a few hours. As per CoinMarketCap, the token witnessed a substantial increase of over 16%, catapulting its value from $1.55 to a 24-hour high of $1.80. Nevertheless, CAKE underwent a minor pullback and is presently trading at $1.73.
