- Bitget Wallet introduces one-click TON integration for easier Web3 adoption.
- TON blockchain targets high efficiency, executed over 100k transactions in one second.
- Bitget plans to add DApps, trading features, and Telegram Red Packet.
Bitget Wallet has announced that a significant barrier to widespread adoption in Web3 is on the verge of being overcome. The service has introduced a feature that allows users to easily integrate TON by simply clicking once, enabling them to handle their holdings and execute transactions on the blockchain.
TON, a Layer 1 blockchain designed for high efficiency, aims to facilitate the widespread adoption of digital assets by integrating a Web3 ecosystem into Telegram Messenger, thereby allowing billions of users to control their digital identity, data, and assets. On October 31, TON achieved a global milestone by executing 104,715 transactions in a single second. The developers assert that the network can consistently handle millions of transactions, given an adequate quantity of validators.
In the future, Bitget Wallet intends to enhance its offerings by adding capabilities for DApps within the TON ecosystem, as well as introducing features for trading tokens and viewing candlestick charts. Moreover, Bitget Wallet aims to roll out new products and services that utilize TON and Telegram, including the feature known as Telegram Red Packet.
The blockchain solution originating from Telegram, known as TON, is engineered to achieve high scalability, aiming to handle millions of transactions every second (TPS) to accommodate many Telegram users. Such a level of performance places TON at a significant role within the changing digital environment. By establishing a Web3 ecosystem through Telegram, TON’s goal is to facilitate the transition from Web2 to Web3 and to encourage the broad acceptance of cryptocurrencies and decentralized systems.
The inclusion of TON by Bitget Wallet represents a further move to simplify access to the cryptocurrency domain and to offer easy-to-use product interactions to a wider range of Web2 users. The latest study from OKX Ventures forecasts that by 2028, the number of TON users will hit the 500 million mark, reinforcing this assertion.
The Bitget Wallet, which is used by more than 12 million people worldwide, has risen to become one of the top crypto-hot wallets internationally. Its application achieved the fourth-highest number of downloads worldwide in October. Additionally, by integrating with the TON mainnet, it is anticipated that there will be an increase in both the liquidity and the number of users on the TON network.
