As of the latest update, Bitcoin’s value has surpassed the crucial $30,000 threshold, with a 6.29% increase in the past 24 hours, as reported by CoinMarketCap. This impressive surge has propelled Bitcoin’s weekly performance even higher, with a total gain of +6.55%. As a result, Bitcoin is currently trading at $30,112.33.
BTC has demonstrated impressive resilience against the dollar and Ethereum (ETH) in the past 24 hours. Currently, BTC has surged 3.02% against the top altcoin, showcasing its dominance in the market.
Bitcoin’s value surged to a peak of $30,160.48 during the day but has since returned to its current level. Despite this, the cryptocurrency is still trading near its 24-hour high, with its lowest point in the past 24 hours at $28,189.27.
In recent developments, the trading volume for BTC has experienced a notable surge, coinciding with its breakthrough above the $30k threshold – a feat not achieved since June of the previous year.
