Lido DAO, a prominent liquid staking solution for Ethereum, has recently issued an update regarding the withdrawal of stETH that was staked on the protocol post the Shanghai upgrade on the Ethereum blockchain. This development highlights the commitment of Lido DAO towards ensuring a seamless and secure staking experience for its users.
According to a recent tweet by the Lido DAO team, the much-awaited stETH withdrawals will be launched on the mainnet as soon as all on-chain code audits are completed, which is anticipated by the end April. Lido has expressed its commitment to thoroughly preparing for the Ethereum 2.0 network upgrade scheduled for Monday evening. However, the team has also acknowledged that node operators will require approximately four weeks to implement and thoroughly test validator exits once the update is live.
The Lido DAO platform is undergoing a rigorous series of seven Version 2 (V2) audits, with the codebase nearly completed and all significant fixes successfully integrated. To ensure a seamless launch, Lido DAO will conduct a four-week Goerli testnet starting on March 20th. This critical phase will allow for identifying and resolving any remaining issues before the Ethereum withdrawals go live. Rest assured; Lido DAO is committed to delivering a professional and reliable platform for its users.
Lido is a unique liquid staking solution for ETHereum, allowing users to stake their ETH without minimum deposit requirements or infrastructure upkeep. This will enable them to engage in on-chain activities with ease. The platform’s native token is unique among the top 30 coins, boasting a market capitalization of over $2.3 billion.
As per a Twitter tracking account’s top-ten list, the Lido DAO token has outpaced well-known blockchains like Polkadot (DOT) and Avalanche (AVAX) in terms of daily GitHub development activity. This impressive feat has propelled the coin’s value to $2.75, with a remarkable growth of 9.2% in the last seven days.
